Image Hosted by ImageShack.us "The One" within me is perfect peace. I am serene, tranquil and quiet. I am in harmony with all Life. The peace within me is the peace which passeth all understanding. "The One" is Peace. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us I know that everything is as it should be because "The One" is always guiding me. Nothing happens without the hands of "The One" and everything happens to bring me closer to my highest good. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us "The One" within me is unconditional Love. Everywhere "The One" is there is Love. I am surrounded by "The One" therefore I am surrounded by Love. I think only Love. I speak only Love. Everything I say or do comes from a place of unconditional Love. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us I am supremely concentrated in the present. I release all ties to the past. I forgive all beings who I have felt hurt by consciously or unconsciously and I bless them. I live with my full attention in this moment now. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Every moment brings me the opportunity to celebrate Life. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Hmmm, lets see, about me... I am a poet all the way through to my soul. I think that women are the most beautiful thing ever in creation. I am a writer and an artist. I am also a Caregiver and a Healer. I love to live peacefully, with as little drama as possible. I like to take the time to appreciate the beauty in things... whatever it may be. Even small miracles catch my attention. Like walking down the street and stopping to see a ladybug perched on a weed that grows between the ridges in the sidewalk. Of course noone can take the time to appreciate beauty like that all the time, but that is what I truly love doing.

This is a poem I hijacked LOL ( I amuse myself sometimes) from one of ~**Raven Sapphire**~'s bulletin posts <3 Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Life is woven into a pattern by your dreams. Those dreams may be of gold, Love, or even spiritual attainments. A throne in an earthly palace or a throne in heaven are the very same dream, it is of small consequence; if you are a seeker of truth. Truth can be found always in your awakenings, seldom in your dreams. Reality does not exist within the fabric of illusion, but in the undeniable presence of the dreamer. Remember, the dreamer can awaken at any moment to find the search has been in vain. The search, in truth, was for the seeker! ~ The Omano Oracle The body is the visible soul, and the soul is the invisible body. The body and soul are not divided anywhere, they are parts of each other, they are parts of one whole. You have to accept the body, you have to love the body, you have to respect the body, you have to be grateful to your body .... The body is the most complex mechanism in existence - it is simply marvelous! And blessed are those who marvel. Begin the feeling of wonder with your own body, because that is closest to you. The closest nature has approached to you, the closest existence has come to you, is through the body. In your body is the water of the oceans, in your body is the fire of the stars and the suns, in your body is the air, your body is made of earth. Empathy is the ability to read and understand people and be in-tune with or resonate with others, voluntarily or involuntarily of one's empath capacity. Empaths have the ability to scan another's psyche for thoughts and feelings or for past, present, and future life occurrences. Many empaths are unaware of how this actually works, and have long accepted that they were ìsensitiveî to others. Empathy is a feeling of another's true emotions to a point where an empath can relate to that person by sensing true feelings that run deeper than those portrayed on the surface. People commonly put on a show of expression. This is a learned trait of hiding authentic expression in an increasingly demanding society. An empath can sense the truth behind the cover and will act compassionately to help that person express him/herself, thus making them feel at ease and not so desperately alone. Empaths experience empathy towards family, children, friends, close associates, complete strangers, pets, plants and inanimate objects. Empathy is not held by time or space. Thus, an empath can feel the emotions of people and things at a distance. Some are empathic towards animals (ie: The Horse Whisperer), to nature, to the planetary system, to mechanical devices or to buildings etc. Others will have a combination of the above. Empaths are highly sensitive. This is the term commonly used in describing one's abilities (sensitivity) to another's emotions and feelings. Empaths have a deep sense of ìknowingî that accompanies empathy and are often compassionate, considerate, and understanding of others. There are also varying levels of strength in empaths which may be related to the individualís awareness of self, understanding of the powers of empathy, and/or the acceptance or non-acceptance of empathy by those associated with them, including family and peers. Generally, those who are empathic grow up with these tendencies and do not learn about them until later in life. Empathy is genetic, inherent in our DNA, and passed from generation to generation. It is studied both by traditional science and alternative healing practitioners. Empathy has both biological/genetic and spiritual aspects. Empaths often possess the ability to sense others on many different levels. From their position in observing what another is saying, feeling and thinking, they come to understand another. They can become very proficient at reading another personís body language and/or study intently the eye movements. While this in itself is not empathy, it is a side-shoot that comes from being observant of others. In a sense, empaths have a complete communication package. While there is much we don't yet understand about how empathy works, we do have some information. Everything has an energetic vibration or frequency and an empath is able to sense these vibrations and recognize even the subtlest changes undetectable to the naked eye or the five senses. Words of expression hold an energetic pattern that originates from the speaker. They have a specific meaning particular to the speaker. Behind that expression is a power or force-field, better known as energy. For example, hate often brings about an intense feeling that immediately accompanies the word. The word hate becomes strengthened with the speaker's feeling. It is that person's feelings (energy) that are picked up by empaths, whether the words are spoken, thought or just felt without verbal or bodily expression. Empaths are often poets in motion. They are the born writers, singers, and artists with a high degree of creativity and imagination. They are known for many talents as their interests are varied, broad and continual, loving, loyal and humorous. They often have interests in many cultures and view them with a broad-minded perspective. They are mother, father, child, friend, nurse, caregiver, teacher, doctor, sales people... to psychic, clairvoyant, healer, etc. (That is not to say that any of these categories are all empaths.) The list is extensive and really unimportant. It is more important to notice that empaths are everywhere--in every culture and throughout the world. Empaths are often very affectionate in personality and expression, great listeners and counselors (and not just in the professional area). They will find themselves helping others and often putting their own needs aside to do so. In the same breath, they can be much the opposite. They may be quiet, withdrawn from the outside world, loners, depressed, neurotic, and life's daydreamers. They are most often passionate towards nature and respect its bountiful beauty. One will often find empaths enjoying the outdoors, beaches, walking, etc. Empaths may find themselves continually drawn to nature as a form of release. It is the opportune place to recapture their senses and gain a sense of peace in the hectic lives they may live. The time to get away from it all and unwind with nature becomes essential to the empath. Animals are often dear to the heart of empaths, not as a power object, but as a natural love. It is not uncommon for empaths to have more than one pet in their homes. ~Traits of an Empath~ Empaths are often quiet and can take a while to handle a compliment for they're more inclined to point out another's positive attributes. They are highly expressive in all areas of emotional connection, and talk openly, and, at times, quite frankly in respect to themselves. They may have few problems talking about their feelings. However, they can be the exact opposite: reclusive and apparently unresponsive at the best of times. They may even appear ignorant. Some are very good at blocking out others and that's not always a bad thing, at least for the learning empath struggling with a barrage of emotions from others, as well as their own feelings. Empaths have a tendency to openly feel what is outside of them more so than what is inside of them. This can cause empaths to ignore their own needs. In general an empath is non-violent, non-aggressive and leans more towards being the peacemaker. Any area filled with disharmony creates an uncomfortable feeling in an empath. If they find themselves in the middle of a confrontation, they will endeavor to settle the situation as quickly as possible, if not avoid it all together. If any harsh words are expressed in defending themselves, they will likely resent their lack of self-control, and have a preference to peacefully resolve the problem quickly. Empaths are sensitive to TV, videos, movies, news and broadcasts. Violence or emotional dramas depicting shocking scenes of physical or emotional pain inflicted on adults, children or animals can bring an empath easily to tears. At times, they may feel physically ill or choke back the tears. Some empaths will struggle to comprehend any such cruelty, and will have grave difficulty in expressing themselves in the face of another's ignorance, closed-mindedness and obvious lack of compassion. They simply cannot justify the suffering they feel and see. People of all walks of life and animals are attracted to the warmth and genuine compassion of empaths. Regardless of whether others are aware of one being empathic, people are drawn to them as a metal object is to a magnet! They are like beacons of light. Even complete strangers find it easy to talk to empaths about the most personal things, and before they know it, they have poured out their hearts and souls without intending to do so consciously. It is as though on a sub-conscious level that person knows instinctively that empaths would listen with compassionate understanding. Here are the listeners of life. Empaths are often problem solvers, thinkers, and studiers of many things. As far as empaths are concerned, where a problem is, so too is the answer. They often will search until they find one--if only for peace of mind. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us This is a portrait my friend here on myspace Roy drew for me. In the middle is my mother and me. I have left the gate open and thou art welcome to my home. There is room in my house for all. I have swept the hearth and lighted the fire. The room is warm and cheerful and you will find comfort and rest within. The table is laid and the fruits of Life are spread before thee. The wine is here also, it sparkles in the light. I have set a chair for you where the sunbeams dance through the shade. Sit and rest and refresh your soul. Eat of the fruit and drink the wine. All, all is yours, and you are welcome.
Music I love all kinds of music. I have learned that music affects us more than we know. Music causes a process within us called entrainment. So be selective with your music.... or at least get an understanding of what you are doing when you listen to the music you choose.

TV Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Television works in two ways to perpetuate certain conditions is society. Television keeps us thinking that the world is full of chaos, that the person next to you on the bus or the train might hurt you. Television plants images of that fear so firmly within you that you think it is good to be weary of your fellow divine be-ings. Have you ever looked at someone who is suspicious, fearful and guarded? Do they not give off the look of someone who is up to something? Most likely when you see someone who gives off this vibe, it will make you feel the same way - thus perpetuating a cycle of fear, because now you are fulfilling his fearful beliefs because now it is you that looks like you are up to something. : ) The Truth is that we are all the same Divine Be-ings underneath it all. If you speak to your fellow divine be-ings and treat them with the highest regard - always holding true for them thier divinity, you help them to realize that within themselves... and they will treat you, and speak to you from that place within them. That is the Truth... and I have witnessed it in my own life experience. Everything happens for a reason, and that reason is always to bring all be-ings involved, and witnessing to a higher good and a higher understanding - ALWAYS! No matter what it is that we percieve of the situation in the moment. What happens to the person next to you is not what "could" happen to you - unless you draw it to you through obsessive fear, or a need to learn a specific lesson from it. Television has a way of making us feel what the people on the screen are going through, it can make us fear that what we are witnessing will happen to us too. The television shows us a world of chaos and drama, but our real lives have many more dimensions and do not have to be that way unless we make them that way. Another way that television perpetuates certain conditions in society is that it depicts unreal conditions that have a tendency to distract us from what is real in our lives right now. Not only does it depict stereo types, but also dynamics that tend to be flat and far from reality and we tend to designate these dynamics as "normal" because we see it on repeatedly television and this perpetuates us being dissatisfied with the dynamics that are currently in place in our lives, or worse yet... we imagine that the dynamics that our current situations hold ARE the same as those we see on the television - unconsciously placing others and situations in a box, closing it off from infinite possibilities, and coloring our perceptions beyond distortion to something quite different from the truth. It feeds our dissatisfaction with ourselves and everything around us by perpetuating the desire to become or attain, or possess, and sending the message that we are not whole and divine be-ings unless we do. We see it there (whatever it is) and we think it is better than what we have. The age old "grass is greener on the on the other side of the fence" has become like a carrot the carrot dangling in front of our faces - driving us blindly through fields bountiful with all kinds of delectable nourishment. Ahhhhh! But then because the television tells us so, we are afraid to taste of this abundant supply. So that is just a little about why I don't watch television. : )

My interests majorly fall into the art and writing categories. But I am also interested in spirituality, natural healing, The Goddess. I am interested in music, fashion, dancing... oh how I LOVE to dance. I like to accumulate knowledge. Anything that I can learn from, I am interested in. Painting to me is a spiritual thing. I feel as if the images are already in the canvas, and my brush just brings them out. Usually, I do not even know what it is I am going to paint before it is painted. Our innate kindness comes into its own when we use our many blessings and resources to articulate these feelings in a concrete way. Whatever the nature of the expressions of compassion and benevolence we are moved to convey, our sincerity is obvious in our willingness to make kindness a priority. We need not give voice to our desire to lend our support and assistance to people in need because our actions truly do speak louder than our words. Even when confronted with detractors who question our resolve or point out that there are limits to what we can accomplish, we prove that we would rather contribute whatever we can to the world's well-being instead of simply decry the boundaries of human nature. The love you feel in your heart today will enable you to make a positive difference in your environment. Demeter Muse Myspace Group
